My approach
Therapy is a space that allows you to explore the questions you can't anywhere else. I focus on creating a space that allows for folks to feel comfortable enough to explore, reflect, and sometimes even laugh. My approach is relational, warm, and strengths-based. I draw on a number of theoretical approaches, notably psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral, but believe in adapting therapy to meet your needs. I want to collaborate with you to find what works for you, right now, in this context in your life and in the larger world.
I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and areas related to gender, sex, and sexuality. I enjoy supporting individuals, and couples, around recurring dysfunctional relationship patterns, mood and anxiety disorders, and adjustment to life changes.
I firmly believe that connection, curiosity, and respect, without judgment, are the core aspects of therapy that allow for empowerment, insight, and healing.
