Prelicensure clinician currently working under supervision of Barbara Doyle, LMHC

Everyone has days or moments that make us think, "Maybe I should talk to someone about this." It can be hard to look our lives in the face, but if you feel ready to take that first step, I might be a good someone to talk to. The pain that sends us to a therapist can feel unrelenting and unsolvable. The good news is that there are many ways to approach such problems. I am focused on helping you figure out what is really going on and how that affects you, look at what you are already likely doing to get by, and help you figure out even better solutions and relief.
My practice is based firmly on two principles: First, any problem, no matter how complex, can be named and confronted. Second, your independence comes first. I am here as your assistant, helping you consider options and think of solutions, but the real decision making is in your hands.
Therapy should provide a safe space for clarity and insight. If you choose to work with me, my goal is for you to eventually leave therapy with the ability to do for yourself what therapy originally did for you. Please reach out if you have any questions or you would like to schedule a consult.
